2) What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the App, including when you sign in using Google OAuth (Google Sign-In).

3) Information we collect

We collect information in three main ways: (a) information you provide, (b) information we receive from Google when you choose Google sign-in, and (c) information collected automatically (e.g., analytics).

A. Information you provide

• Account and profile information such as your name, email address, and basic profile details you choose to provide (for example: profile photo, bio, role/title, interests, or similar community profile fields).
• Communications you send us (for example: support requests or feedback).

B. Information we receive from Google (Google OAuth)

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from Google, such as your name, email address, and other basic profile attributes made available by the permissions you grant (for example: profile photo and a Google account identifier).

We only request the permissions needed for authentication and account creation, unless we clearly tell you otherwise at the time we request additional permissions.

C. Information collected automatically (analytics and logs)

When you use the App, we (and our service providers) may automatically collect:

• Usage data (pages/screens viewed, clicks, features used, session duration, referring/exit pages)
• Device and browser data (browser type, operating system, device identifiers)
• Approximate location (derived from IP address)
• Cookies and similar technologies (as described below)

4) How we use information

We use information for the following purposes:

• Provide and operate the App (create accounts, authenticate users, enable community features)
• Maintain and improve the App (debugging, performance monitoring, feature development)
• Personalize your experience (e.g., displaying your profile, remembering preferences)
• Communicate with you (service messages, support responses, security notices)
• Security and abuse prevention (fraud detection, account protection, policy enforcement)
• Analytics to understand how the App is used and improve it

5) Google OAuth and Google user data

When you sign in with Google, our handling of Google user data follows these principles:

• Use limited to what you authorize and what we disclose here. We use Google-provided information primarily to authenticate you, create/maintain your account, and provide core App functionality consistent with the permissions you grant.
• No selling of Google user data. We do not sell Google user data.
• No use for ads targeting. We do not use Google user data we receive via OAuth to build advertising profiles or to target ads.
• Sharing is limited. We do not share Google user data with third parties except (a) with service providers that help us run the App (acting on our instructions), (b) to comply with law, or (c) with your consent (details below).
• Policy alignment. Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the applicable Google API Services User Data Policy requirements, including limitations tied to what we disclose to users.
• Revoking access: You can revoke the App's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account security settings (third-party access). Revoking access may limit or disable sign-in and related features.

6) Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

• keep you signed in,
• remember preferences,
• understand usage and improve the App (analytics).

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may impact App functionality.

7) How we share information

We may disclose information in these situations:

• Service providers (processors): We may share information with vendors who help us operate the App (e.g., hosting, analytics, customer support tooling). They are permitted to process information only on our instructions and for the purposes described in this policy.
• Legal and safety: We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law, enforce our agreements/policies, or protect the rights, property, and safety of users, Marketing Technology Media, or others.
• Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• With your consent: We may share information when you direct us to.

8) Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to:

• provide the App,
• comply with legal obligations,
• resolve disputes, and
• enforce agreements.

If you delete your account (or request deletion), we will delete or anonymize personal information consistent with applicable law and legitimate operational needs (for example, security logs, backups retained for limited periods, and records required for legal compliance).

9) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

10) Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• access, correct, or delete your information,
• object to or restrict certain processing, and/or
• receive a copy of your information.

11) International users

We are based in the United States, and information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

12) Children's privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

13) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy and update the "Last updated" date. In some cases, we may also provide additional notice in the App.
